It’s now November and that means football season (and fantasy football season) is in full swing. However, it can be hard to keep with all the latest stats to choose your fantasy players for the week, but we’ve got you covered. Below you can find some of the best choices for each position in Weeks 10 and 11.
Quarterbacks
A good choice for your quarterback in Week 10 is Geno Smith of the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks will be facing the Commanders in Week 10. The Commanders defense is ranked 28th in pass defense, which will be a great opportunity for Smith to get completions to Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who have both been having a pretty good season so far.
Wide Receivers
Good wide receiver choices for Week 10 will be Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals) and Adam Thielen (Carolina Panthers). Thielen, although being on the 1-6 Panthers, is their wide receiver #1 and has been getting great numbers both on the field and in fantasy. On the other hand, Ja’Marr Chase, being the Bengals receiver #1, is going against the Texans, who have a weak defense, which will allow Chase to get lots of receptions and yards.
Running Backs
Two excellent choices for your Week 10 running back are Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons) and Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys). Robinson leads his team with 466 yards on 92 carries. In Week 10, the Falcons play the Cardinals, who have the league’s third worst defense and have given up an average of 130 rushing yards per game and 11 rushing touchdowns over the course of the season. As for Pollard, he is having an amazing season as well, with 423 yards on 108 carries. The Cowboys’ Week 10 matchup against the Giants (fourth worst rushing defense in the NFL) will provide Pollard with the perfect opportunity to get high rushing yards.
Tight Ends
With some of the league’s top tight ends on bye weeks, including Travis Kelce and Dallas Goedert, some of the obvious choices are eliminated. The perfect choice for Week 10, not as well known as those two but still a phenomenal player, is Sam LaPorta from the Detroit Lions. He holds the teams second highest receiving yards (434 yards on 43 receptions) and third most points for the season (24)- a clear indication of the chemistry he has with Quarterback Jared Goff. The Lions are also up against the Chargers, who have the second lowest ranked defense in the NFL.
Defense
A good choice for your defense most weeks, the Dallas Cowboys are currently ranked as the third overall defense in the NFL. With big names like Linebacker Micah Parsons (6 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 22 tackles) and lesser known playmakers like Cornerback DaRon Bland (4 interceptions for 116 yards, 28 tackles), the Cowboys’ defense is clearly stacked. Dallas’ defense is also helped by their matchup, as they play the league’s third worst offense in the Giants. With the Giants’ already high totals of 6 interceptions and 9 fumbles, such a good defense is likely to cause a lot of turnovers.
Another well ranked defense (#4 in the league), the New York Jets have 8 interceptions and 17 sacks, despite a series of opponents with very strong offenses. Even with much of their secondary out in Week 6 against Philadelphia, the Jets managed to hold the defending NFC champions to just 14 points and with the recent return of Cornerbacks Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed, there is nowhere to go but up. Combined with the fact that they are playing against the Raiders, who have the league’s tenth worst offense (only 289 total yards of offense per game and just 15.8 points per game, both of which are below the league average), this likely means the Jets defense will have a very good game.
